Day 1
Vilshofen an der Donau, Germany
Fly from the UK and transfer to AmaBella, your home for the next seven nights.
Day 2
Vilshofen & Passau, Germany
Vilshofen’s old town in the morning, then Passau for a walking tour, a hike to Veste Oberhaus or a ride along the River Inn.
Day 3
Linz, Austria
A full day in Salzburg or Český Krumlov, or stay in Linz for a city tour and distillery visit.
Day 4
Weißenkirchen, Austria
Sail through the Wachau Valley, with tours of Dürnstein and Melk Abbey or a bike ride through the vineyards.
Day 5
Vienna, Austria
City tour past the Opera House, the Hofburg and St Stephen’s Cathedral, with the afternoon at leisure.
Day 6
Bratislava, Slovakia
A walking tour of the old town, a Tastes of Slovakia tour or a hike up to Bratislava Castle.
Day 7
Budapest, Hungary
Tours of both Buda and Pest, including the Castle District and the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial. Overnight in port.
Day 8
Budapest, Hungary
Leave the ship and fly home.
The Cruise Experience
AmaBella carries up to 160 guests, so it feels relaxed and personal, with comfortable staterooms and many with balconies. On the sun deck there’s a heated pool and a walking track, and inside you’ll find a fitness room, a massage and hair salon and an observation lounge and bar.
Dining is a real highlight, with the main restaurant, The Chef’s Table and an al fresco terrace, plus live music and local entertainment in the lounge in the evenings.
