This 10 night Egypt holiday combines three nights at a 5 Star Cairo hotel with a 7 night Nile cruise onboard the intimate Travelmarvel Sirius, with expert Egyptologist guides bringing the ancient sites to life. Drinks with meals, gratuities and Wi-Fi are all included on the cruise.
You’ll see the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, then fly to Luxor to join your ship. From there you’ll visit Karnak, Dendera, Edfu, Philae and Kom Ombo, sail a traditional felucca at sunset in Aswan, fly to Abu Simbel and finish with the Valley of the Kings.

Day 1
Cairo, Egypt
Fly from London to Cairo and transfer to the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino (or similar) for 3 nights, with a welcome dinner.
Day 2
Cairo, Egypt
Explore the Giza Plateau, the Pyramids and the Sphinx with your Egyptologist, then visit the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Day 3
Cairo, Egypt
Wander the historic old town, then take in the sights and sounds of the Khan el Khalili bazaar.
Day 4
Luxor, Egypt
Fly to Luxor, visit Karnak Temple and embark Travelmarvel Sirius, then see Luxor Temple before the Captain’s Welcome Dinner.
Day 5
Luxor to Esna, Egypt
Visit the Dendera Temple Complex and the Temple of Hathor with your Egyptologist.
Day 6
Edfu and Aswan, Egypt
See Esna Temple and the Temple of Horus at Edfu, then sail on to Aswan.
Day 7
Aswan, Egypt
Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, then sail the Nile by felucca at sunset.
Day 8
Abu Simbel and Kom Ombo, Egypt
Fly to Abu Simbel to explore the temples of Ramses II with your Egyptologist, then sail to Kom Ombo.
Day 9
Kom Ombo and Luxor, Egypt
Explore the double temple of Kom Ombo, then enjoy a relaxing sail back to Luxor.
Day 10
Luxor, Egypt
Visit the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings and Queens and the Temple of Hatshepsut, with a Farewell Dinner onboard.
Day 11
Luxor, Egypt
Disembark Travelmarvel Sirius and fly home.
The Cruise Experience
Travelmarvel Sirius is a recently refurbished Nile river ship carrying up to 124 guests, and with more than one crew member for every two guests, service is quick and personal. Every cabin has a large window, so the river is never far from view.
The sun deck has a pool and plenty of space to relax, and you can enjoy Egyptian-inspired dishes in the Nefertari Restaurant, a coffee in the Tutankhamun Terrace Café or a drink in the Ramses Lounge and Bar. Evenings bring traditional music and dance performances inspired by the region.
