This 14 night Travelmarvel river cruise links two of Europe’s great rivers, sailing from Amsterdam to Budapest through the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Hungary. Eight guided excursions are included, along with beer, wine and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, gratuities, Wi-Fi and flights, so almost everything is taken care of from the moment you step onboard.
After an overnight stay in Amsterdam, Travelmarvel Vega heads up the Rhine to Cologne and through the castle-lined Rhine Gorge to Rüdesheim. You then follow the Main and the Main-Danube Canal past the half-timbered towns of Miltenberg, Würzburg, Bamberg and Nuremberg, before joining the Danube at Regensburg for Passau, the Wachau Valley, two days in Vienna and a final overnight in Budapest.

The Cruise Experience
Travelmarvel Vega carries around 182 guests, so it feels relaxed and sociable rather than busy. Dinner in the Constellations Restaurant is a four-course affair built around regional specialities, with a lighter buffet in the True North Lounge and drinks in McGeary’s Bar.
Up on the Sun Deck there is a whirlpool and the Sky Deck Terrace and Bar, ideal for the Rhine Gorge and the Wachau Valley, plus a fitness centre and an Alfresco Lounge. Window Staterooms have large windows onto the river, while the French Balcony Suites and Owner’s Suites have electronic windows that slide down to create a French-style balcony.
